Wedding Photographer Estes Park Colorado ~ What a beautiful day it was for Isaiah and Jocelyn. I have been looking forward to this intimate wedding for a long time and it finally came. Oh, and the weather map called for 100% rain. That didn’t happen. They got the wedding of their dreams, blue skies, snow capped mountains, and of course, their most important family and friends there to share it with them. I’m reminded of a saying that is very dear to me when viewing the images from their day. “Collect Moments, Not Things” ~ author unknown.
Sarah and I follow this motto and always will. Yes, I have a camera collection and Sarah has a really cool vintage collection. However, we don’t work to buy, we work to experience. This wedding was truly an experience. Not lavish with expensive flowers and center pieces, but lavish with emotion and excitement. God gave us a beautiful mountain landscape as well as weather and we were able to drive through his creation in awe while capturing special moments in time for this young couple to remember what’s important to them as well as us ~ Moments.
As wedding photographers, we are blessed with the opportunity to capture these moments and although they are not pivotal moments in our lives, we treat them as if they are because it is our responsibility. Ever wedding we finish, we feel as if we know the couple as well as a lot of the family members. This is because no matter the size of the wedding, we are allowed to be close to the emotions and moments that they will remember forever.
With Isaiah and Jocelyn, I know we will always be friends if not in person, but in thought. They are an amazing couple and their love is true, pure, and unbreakable. It was an honor and a privilege to capture your start as husband and wife!
