Golden Colorado Story Telling Wedding Photographer ~ What a day! When we arrived at the hotel to capture the bride and groom getting ready, we were happy to see the bride and her ladies in a large room and the groom and a few of his men in a nicely lit room. This made for some great getting ready moments as well as gave them a chance to let it all soak in. Once we arrived at the park chosen for their first look as well as photos, we were disappointed by the beginning of what seemed to be a hard rain. But minutes before the bride arrived, the clouds opened back up and for the rest of the day we had the perfect amount of sun.
Christian, a photographer from Chicago, was dapper as ever and being that he knows what it’s like on my side of the lens, was an easy subject to capture as well as his now wife, Lauren. We took advantage of the beautiful scenery as well as homestead houses, cellars, and barns to capture an all around perfect session featuring their love for each other and their absolute cuteness as a couple. They had a very old school party bus for their wedding party and as you can see in the photo below, even with the outside looking old and decrepit, the inside was furnished to the nine!
The ceremony was at the golf course in Golden, as well as the reception. Tons of great conversations as well as dances made the night a hit. So many touching moments made this photographer happy to click away uncontrollably!
