Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Wedding Colorado Springs ~ After shooting over 400 weddings, I thought I shot at all the different type of wedding venues…..that is until this wedding. Yes, they got ready at the Broadmoor. But look farther down through the photos and you will see a bride, groom, a wedding party, and giraffes! A wedding is a unique type of event, but have it at a zoo in the foothills of the front range and you have a truly one of a kind event for the ages. Sarah and Greg love spending time at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo so what better place to get hitched than at that very location. The ceremony was held at the front of “Africa” and as the ceremony concluded, the guests were able to partake in hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and feeding the tame giraffes. After being shuttled up the hill, the carousel was waiting for guests to enjoy a fun ride before entering the reception. Dancing, great food, and laughter finished out the night on this wonderfully planned wedding. Congrats Greg and Sarah and thank you for letting us feed the giraffes with you!
